After awhile, two more will rise out and you must defeat all of them before you can advance to the next room. Suddenly, an icy skull named Skully rises out of the ground and will start charging at you! You cannot damage it with your stick, but you can reflect its fire shots with your blocks from the Ice Ring. The floor is pitch black, and the room is empty at first. It is a pretty dark area, with narrow hallways, some of which have spiky traps that can hurt you.Īfter you solve its multiple floors, you will come to the boss room. The Bottomless Tower is a dungeon with a focus on the Ice Ring. In the far corners of the room, two turrets shoot fireballs that can damage you, and the boss.Īntigram screenshot. The boss of this dungeon isn't exactly a challenge, a big icy rock with googly eyes that fires one projectile named Melty Bod. Once both wings have been solved, the middle path is open and leads into the boss room. These wings are identical and must both be studied to figure out what to do in its corresponding wing. It is separated into two different wings, the left and right, both color coded. There are 41 cards to be collected in all of Dream World.Īntigram is a dungeon with a focus on use of the Fire Sword. You don't unlock any upgrades by finishing the Dream World, but you can collect Cards, just like in the original Ittle Dew.Ĭards serve no purpose other than to be collected, containing art of enemies and characters from throughout the game. It's completely optional, with more puzzle-oriented dungeons, for those who thought the puzzles in the vanilla game were not a challenge. When you first enter the Dream World, you are greeted by Jenny Cat who explains the concept of the Dream World. the way you find some of these are harder than whats in the hidden room anyway. The Dream World is an area hidden inside Ittle Dew 2+. this seems like busy work and yes there are other items in some of them but i feel this could have just been things on the world map. a minor grip but why are hidden maps for hidden places in said hidden places. (i know the dev got a lot of hate for 1's boss) he almost does not fit until he goes all spammie on his 2nd phase. i have to say i like the end boss (not the hidden one) this is what the 1st games end boss should have been. the hidden dungeons become bullet spamfests over pits with unkillable enemies and the card/puzzle dungeons expect to much of most players also lining up angled shots for puzzles is hard in this game. play the base game and skip the rest unless you like hardcore games. Ittle dew 2 is still a good game but it's not the easy game one was. puzzles are doable but i feel every function of weapons should have been explained. some things you can do are: wand can be used to push blocks diagonally, if you reflect the shot and hit it with another you can jump blocks/you 1 space over pits (do it 3 times and it explodes), freezing movable blocks, the wand can push explosives and many other items, freezing explosives to up the timer or push it farther, breaking the iceblock to reflect sideways, ice blocks can be pushed diagonally once broken, and the roll can knock over pillars. Puzzles are the same way pathetic in the beginning then later i'm like wtf because some weapon higher function were never hinted at and they have hints. you can also use the roll but if there are a lot you'll still get hit and if your doing some of the walkway parts you can roll off into a hole. projectile spam is bad because its hard to reflect them with the wand or ice blocks as they follow you a bit and will come in at odd angles. yes, you can win them but it's not really fun also your roll/dodge sucks and really should last longer. there are unkillable dungeon enemy (mainly in the hidden dungeons but they love spam). there are also annoying unattackable overworld enemies that damage you. you end up avoiding most fights on the world map (they only drop hearts) and slayer jenny is harder then most bosses. enemies just run around and spam their attack into annoying levels of bad. this one starts out that way but tries to go all souls like on you. The thing about 1 that was so good was it was easy maybe to easy but you could just chill and play it. you use these to solve puzzles and beat up bad guys (you don't really kill anyone). here you only get 4 "weapons" stick=>fire sword, wand (shoots projectiles), explosives, and ice block wand also you have a roll/dodge. Ittle dew 2 is your basic zelda clone but smaller and is WAY harder than 1 was.
